Hi,

Please test these ROM images and report whether they work.

Expected behaviour is to see GRUB, and then to see it boot a GNU/Linux
system as expected.

https://libreboot.org/beta/seagrubtest/

WARNING: probability of bricks are high. Only test these if you have a
SPI programmer handy for external flashing, in case you brick your lapto
p.

These ROM images use a hybrid of SeaBIOS+GRUB, with SeaBIOS as the
main payload. SeaBIOS is configured with a 0s delay so you're not
supposed to see the SeaBIOS menu, and then SeaBIOS is configured to
automatically just load GRUB from CBFS.

We call this SeaGRUB. The idea is that it still boots straight into
GRUB, but now with BIOS services present, provided by SeaBIOS. If this
works, we could then integrate things like iPXE which require BIOS
services. This will also fix a few issues on some boards (keyboard
initialization failing on X60 due to lack of delay; coreboot has an
option for this when using SeaBIOS, to wait for the keyboard to
initialize. Also will fix D8/D16 booting issue documented on
libreboot.org/download/#tasks - tpearson was always using SeaGRUB, it
just didn't have that name. Now libreboot is replicating that setup)

Patch is included in the directory linked above. Apply it to current
src snapshots in libreboot.org/beta/ for CCS.
