Hi,
I'm trying to install libextractor 0.5.2 on my debian etch box.
configure runs fine, but make makes my computer hang a few minutes (at
the same time my internet browser crashes) and results in the following:

 gcc-3.3 -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I../../../src/include
-I../../../src/include -fno-strict-aliasing -g -O2 -MT no.lo -MD -MP
-MF .deps/no.Tpo -c no.c -fPIC -DPIC -o .libs/no.o
gcc-3.3: Internal error: Killed (program cc1)
Please submit a full bug report.
See <URL:http://gcc.gnu.org/bugs.html> for instructions.
For Debian GNU/Linux specific bug reporting instructions,
see <URL:file:///usr/share/doc/gcc-3.3/README.Bugs>.

I already got similar problems when compiling other programs (octave-gtk
and others), so possibly its not a problem specific to libextractor (but
the more happy i would be if you knew a solution :-).
I got 256MB RAM. Thats not too much but should not cause such problems,
i guess.

Thanks,
wen
