Use this combination of directives in zebra.cfg:
perm.anonymous: ra
perm.admin: rw
passwd: /path/to/some/file
And create a password file at /path/to/some/file that contains the line:
admin:somePassw0rd
Now if you access the database as user "admin", providing the password
"somePassw0rd", you'll have write-access; but if you connect
anonymously, you'll only be able to read.
