[Koha-win32] Problem in " v - dateaccessioned " in old Date

Dear all

I have entered data in” Add MARC Record With Framework “data is successfully entered  then I click the “Add Bibliographic Record and go to item “ in this b – homebranch, d – holdingbranch , p - barcode *,r – price, v – dateaccessioned, y – notforloan all field  entered . When  I enter  old date  in  v – dateaccessioned (08/06/1998) text box and  click the button " View in Catloge" it displays  the "Total Number of Items: 0 " . When  I do not enter the date in this field , v – dateaccessioned  field take  current date and disply  Total Number of Items: as entered  books quantity .Please guide to me how to enter    v – dateaccessioned  in old date .
