[Koha-win32] Problems with Installation

Is it possible to install Koha on a Windows box without using Koha-Win32.exe? 
I use Apache2Triad as my webserver package which has all dependencies
included except ActivePerl, which I have installed at c:/usr.  My actual
Apache server is installed on drive F, at f:/apache2triad/htdocs.  I would
install on drive C, but to be honest I do not want patrons or anyone else
messing on my C drive where Windows is installed. In addition, I like the
GUIs that Apache2Triad provides for webserver administration. Can I manually
install Koha?  If so, how do I configure the config files?  You should
probably also know that Drive F on my system is a NTFS drive, so it supports
long filenames required by the LINUX installation.   I am running Windows XP
Pro as my operating system.  I tried installing Koha using the installer,
but because Apache is not located at the default location, it will not work. 
I really want to use Koha because it seems to be the best open source and
free system out there.  Right now, we are using a legacy DOS system.  We
have tried to use PHPMyLibrary, but it crashes the server too often. 
OpenBiblio works, but it lacks so many features KOHA has.  HELP!!!  Thanks
