Hello!

Sorry for replying this late. I had no time due some projects at home and at work and I have been involved in a picture battle (never again) which eats much time and makes one not want to think about graphics for the time it is going on. Although there is still one picture to be done I am relieved it is over and can concentrate on other things now.

The cribbage board. I made the coordinates and a skin for it what seems months ago (probably is, anyway) just to find out the moment I wanted to email it, that I based it on an outdated screenshot (there is one row of cards moved to the bottom line below the board) and it would not have fit into the game. Banging my head against the wall I decided to start over. At least as an apology, I did two different style skins for the board.

The image size more than fits into the game window, because the round counter is integrated. Although it is a few pixels wider than the original, it saves about 100 pixel space because of that. The title "cribbage board" had to go, though.

The coordinates are listed in the text-file inside the .zip and count from the upper left corner of the image, starting at 0. If your program starts counting at 1, you will have to add an offsett of +1 +1 to the coordinates.

For reference I searched the internet for some pictures of cribbage board and found out that the most common layout comes in two different versions: red and blue and red, white and blue. The white colour track between red and blue.

Kards GT uses red and blue, but I wanted to avoid limitation to this, so I calculated in some space for a white track and added coordinates for it. Maybe some time someone wants to add it to the game. Until then, noone sees it, as long as the skins don't depict it.

For the jumpers, there needs to be a convention. To make skin making easy, it would be nice to provide a clear rule like "jumper images have the size of 9x9 pixels and cover the coordinates at 4,4". There is just one thing to keep in mind: either the size is very limited or overlapping is possible. With 9x9 overlapping is possible, but that could be solved by blitting from the lowest to the highest value jumper. Please spend a minute and make up a convention and tell me so I can adjust the jumper images' sizes to that.

lg

Sylvia

I really am sorry for replying that late
