- Version 0.11 is released!
- Speaking opportunity
- HOPE conference is open for submitting talk proposals virtually: https://www.hope.net/callforspeakers.html They annouced on their mailing list https://www.2600.com/mailman/postorius/lists/hope-announce.lists.2600.com/ that they were still accepting new talks both virtually and in-person. Easy submission process with title, name, abstract, and bio.
- Funding
- Discussion of https://lists.nongnu.org/archive/html/js-shield/2022-05/msg00004.html - Michael will review NLnet grant opportunities and meet with FSF possibly regarding these topics: i18n, community engagement, and top 100 site research. - The enhancement tag can be used to easily search for possible ways to take the project further and seek funding: https://pagure.io/JShelter/webextension/issues?tags=enhancement&status=Open - Proposal idea: Making better test pages. The user could go through several stages, in the first he will be instructed to turn JShelter off, then he will be instructed to turn the JShelter back on, and then the webpage shows the difference to illustrate how the extension works. - Proposal idea: Make a research with FSF supporters. Prepare a questionaire, let the user try the extension (for some time). Ask them the questions. It would be great if we had someone on team who knows the theory behind qualitative and quantitative research. - Looking at https://pagure.io/JShelter/webextension/issues?tags=website&status=Open
