I believe many mashups at the consumer level will likely be free and driven by third party revenues or investments, but some may be compelling enough to warrant a subscription fee. Botnets and phishing are featured prominently, as intruders are becoming more interested in the money angle than just seeing if they can cause some mischief.

However, I think stealthier, and thus perhaps more persistent, system level intrusions will be the norm for awhile, as remote manipulations provide very powerful and useful tools. Some may be limited by their Terms of Service.
Some of the legal feeds mentioned have a Wisconsin flavor given its readership, but several others covered will have broader appeal.
So just because they're included in the list doesn't necessarily mean they're free. Not difficult, but somewhat annoying.
In short, I can imagine them doing all the things they could never have done with the traditional telephone network.
