It basically means, that the product cannot be included in commercial products any more unless...you pay a license fee......
It means one can't make proprietary versions of Ring. I'm not aware of another Ring license that would allow a proprietary derivative. But nothing in any version of the GPL prohibits commercial distribution or charging for your services if you'd like to provide commercial Ring support.
