This release fixes various minor bugs and improves support for namespaces and
in particular content updates. Visible changes include:
* support for libgcrypt 1.1.43
* boolean queries in GTK
* GTK automatically searches for latest version of updateable content
* GTK information window for cutting and pasting URIs
* bugfixes with respect to the build-in crypto support code ("gcry")
More significant are the "invisble" changes:
* better resource (bandwidth, CPU) allocation code
* better retransmission heuristics
* better load evaluation code (Linux only)
These changes should improve the performance of the network (but will also
result in GNUnet using the amout of resources that GNUnet was configured to
use. Thus, if you configure "100% of the CPU", it may at times actually use
100% of the CPU. If you do not want that, revise your configuration.
0.6.0 is protocol-compatible with 0.5.5 and updating from 0.5.5 should merely
require recompilation -- and possibly changing the CPU load from 150 (old
default) to 50 (new default) in the gnunet.conf configuration file.
