It may be reasonable to use a fake email address, but not one that's in
a legitimate domain -- that *is* antisocial. As per RFC 2606, the four
top-level domains .test, .example, .invalid, and .localhost are reserved
for testing and example purposes and are thus guaranteed to never be
assigned. Likewise for example.com, example.net, and
example.org. So,
if you insist on making up a fake email address, please use one of those
domains.

someone should have submitted a comment to RFC 2606 to include another
top-level domain: .bogus or .antisocial "for the purpose of avoiding
spam and other unsolicited emails when asking a quesiton on a newsgroup
when it is your first post and you are not sure about the people on the
newsgroup."
Seriously, I don't know why you guys get so worked up about the use of cutsie fake email addresses.
