CVS tag problem

Hello to all,

I'm having a problem using CVS 1.11.2 over ssh. Specific error message is
below. I've looked for stale lock files, checked permissions on the
repository as well as the val-tags file - any ideas would be appreciated.
I've checked the logs and nothing shows up there either.

cvs tag -b CFGSwitchFixes

? i686-Linux
? src/OpenAnalysis/Interface/.IRInterface.h.swp

I've checked the *NIX file permissions on the repository files
(they are correct) as well as the

-rw-rw-r-- CVSROOT/val-tags
