winnt-client shows not all output

Hi!

Can anybody reproduce this behaviour?

1. do a 'cvs co any_project'
2. now, cd into that working directory and remove a subdirectory
there. The subdirectory itself must also be under cvs...
3. do a 'cvs -n -q update'

under Solaris i get this output:
OUT: cvs update: New directory `deleted_directory' -- ignored

but under NT there is NO output!

It doesn't matter if i use a local repository or a pserver.

Any suggestions? is it a bug?
