Error while viewing the repository using cvsweb!

Hi,
   I have configured the CVS repository and cvsweb on AIX server. The
repository is working fine for me.when i am trying to see the files through
browser i am getting the internal file error.
When i checked the error logs for apache web server, its showing the
following.

# vi /usr/local/apache/logs/error_log

Can't locate strict.pm in @INC at /usr/local/apache/neptune/cvs line 46.
BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at /usr/local/apache/neptune/cvs line 46.

I am using perl5.001. Is there any dependency or limitation for cvsweb.cgi
script like there should be atleast  this version of perl?.
any other ideas of why i am getting this error?.
