automatic update error

Hello,

I have the following line in my loginfo file:
myax (date; echo $USER; cat; (sleep 2; cd /www/rel15.myax.ch; cvs -q
update -d) &) >> $CVSROOT/CVSROOT/rel15updatelog 2>&1;

Everything worked ok, but today I added a new directory (with cvs add) and
some files in it with the the user testUser;
Now another user wanted to add a file in this directory. But that didn't
work.. The following error occured (in the rel15updatelog file)

cvs update: cannot open testWin.txt: No such file or directory
cvs update: could not check out phpinclude/dtsearch/engine/testWin.txt

I changed the right ( of the folder )to 777 but it is not working..

What am I doing wrong?
