need help about cvs login

Hi,

I have a problem about cvs login.
The problem description is the following, please help me if you have any
idea about the solution.

cvs version:    Concurrent Versions System (CVS) 1.11.1p1 (client/server) 

address@hidden md]$ cvs -d
:pserver:address@hidden:/usr/local/cvsroot login

Logging in to :pserver:address@hidden:2401/usr/local/cvsroot
CVS password:

cvs [login aborted]: recv() from server hydrogen.sesda.com: EOF
