What would you propose as a suitable tools for anonymous cvs access.

I'm certainly no fan of pserver (most of my posts on here and usenet could
probably be classified as anti-pserver).  But I would wonder what would be
a better set up for those types of services.

Anonymous rsh?  with what as a shell?  What would be necessary to get
:server: working on all platforms (what is currently unsupported?)?

I would say that only good use for pserver is for anonymous access, ran
non-root from inetd.
