[igraph] R/igraph 1.0.1: where are the docs? backend changes?

Dear All,

I have two questions:

Going to http://igraph.org/r/ shows the documentation for R/igraph 0.7.1.  Is the 1.0.1 documentation available through the website?  Where?

Did the C backend also get updated for the 1.0.1 R package release, or is this release merely an API/UI change?  The release notes suggest that the backend has also changed (e.g. layout algorithms rewritten).  If so, will there be a new release for C/igraph and python-igraph soon?
