[igraph] Closeness

I am getting what I think are incorrect results when I use the closeness function. There is very little variation in the closeness of the nodes across the whole network.

Betweenness indegree and outdegree all work well and give reasonable results.

I think I may be using the function incorrectly because my network is directed. 

Is there some documentation on the use of this function?

Does closeness() require some parameters?
