[igraph] python-igraph 0.7.1-4 doesn't install on Max OS X 10.9.5

I’m doing the following:

> brew link homebrew/science/igraph

> pip install python-igraph

The brew step appears to work fine, but the pip step doesn’t work (with or without ‘sudo); nor does easy_install.

My version of Python is: Python 2.7.9 |Anaconda 2.1.0 (x86_64)| 

I have a 3MB pip.log; here are some excerpts:
