[igraph] difficulty with setting node positions

Hi,

I am having difficulty when setting node positions in plot by layout matrix because it justifies positions according to max and min values. I mean I cant plot 4 nodes in rectangular shape it always becomes square (corners of square plotting area).
Is there any way to set ranges for x and y in layout matrix?
