[igraph-announce] Debian packages and Python interface for igraph 0.5.4 released

Dear All,

Compilation is finally finished for the Debian packages of igraph 0.5.4,
so we are pleased to announce that the packages are finally available in
our Launchpad package repository at the following URL:

https://launchpad.net/~igraph/+archive/ppa

The packages are compiled for both amd64 and i386 architectures. Users
of Ubuntu Karmic/Lucid/Maverick can now subscribe to the package
repository using the codename of their Linux distro (karmic, lucid or
maverick).

The Python packages are also available at the usual location:

http://pypi.python.org/pypi/python-igraph

The Python interface is now pre-compiled as a universal binary for Mac
OS X 10.6 (both for Python 2.5 and Python 2.6), enabling one to use them
even if the system-wide Python is set to the 32-bit version.
