1. Have the following file.

The above ^L is meant to be the page break sign (C-ql in Emacs.)

2. Do `pages-directory' in this file.
Observe: A new buffer appears.
Outcome:
- Unexpected: Command `pages-directory-goto' in the new buffer does not
lead anywhere.
