Let's have a look at it backwards. The Hurd community has shown unity.
So they (we!) ``found a way''. I had hoped that Alfred would be able to
do b). For now, it unfortunately doesn't look like it. Let's see what
the future will bring. a) has happened now.

Thank you, Hurd community.
The next time we meet--at the LSM, I guess (and it'll be again my
