This is probably impossible, but I was thinking it would be cool if vcdimager
could write an ISO9660 FS which has pointers into the VCD tracks. This
would allow a "dual mode" VCD which is viewable on a VCD player and still
have direct access to the MPEG files from a PC. I am guessing this won't
work since the ISO9660 FS may have to be all within the same track and/or
the layout of the VCD tracks is incompatible but I figured I would ask
here to see if you know.
/a
PS: Yes, I know I could use vcdxrip to get the MPEG's back out of the image,
but I am thinking along the lines of having VCDs of the kids to send to
grandma that she can watch on a DVD player or on her PC without having
to set her up with a dual-boot linux machine with xine:-)
