Hi David.

    I would loooove an interactive mode for recins that when invoked, prompted
    me for each field to input values for creating new records. 
    Unless optional [type] were given, the first prompt might me for which type
    of record.
    Any entry that did not match constraints could throw an error. 
    
    this would be a treat

That is an interesting idea.  But how to build the list of fields to ask
for?  Some of the fields are "documented" in the record descriptor,
while others may only appear in some record in the record set.
