Did you upgrade using th exe installer or th 7z or zip archive?  If it was the archive did you run post_install.bat? That updates the windows font cache among other things.  Not updating the font cache can cause the first plot command to take several minutes to fully render. Many people have reported this as an apparent crash or lack of plotting.  You could try either waiting a few minutes for the plot or running the post_install.bat file and seeing if that resolves the issue.

 

Otherwise, we may need more detail about what exactly you’re trying to plot that might be causing plot render issues.
