I hope this doesn't go to spam. It seems that pi gives closer results
than 4, but I still don't understand why. If I integrate with df, I
get what's in the script, if I use dw (=d[pi*f]), I get everything
divided by pi^2. If I use the latter, I need to divide the b vector by
pi^2, and I get different results (though the FFT shows a
differentiator with close enough bandwidth). That tells me this isn't
the way, so df it is, but then where did the pi come from? I swear I
feel like back in communism/socialism (same thing) and I really hate
it: "Does it work?", "No, sir!", "Well use the bigger hammer, then. Do
I really have to tell you everything?!", "Sir, it seems to work, but
now it's broken!", "Well, you shouldn't have hit it that hard! Leave
it be now, just keep quiet and the next fool that uses it will be the
scape-goat...". Sorry for the rant. I didn't upload the script, if you
want you can test and see for yourselves.
