I doubt that EasyKrig will be made to work under octave.

However, the stk package[1] will likely do what you want.

Hello,
is anyone using EasyKrig (Globec Kriging Software) in Octave? It's
written for Matlab, but it does not work in the Matlab Free Trial
Version and also here I get a lot of errors ... Has anyone experience
with it or do I have to buy the full Matlab Version?
Thanks!

Kriging has been something I've been aware of for a long time, but
haven't actually used.  Looking online, I see this:

For people who do not want to use GUI but only interested in
function-based m-files can go to a different website that provides a
function-based m-file Kriging package
(http://globec.whoi.edu/software/kriging/V3/intro_v3.html) developed
by Caroline Lafleur and Yves Gratton, INRS-Océanologie, Universit du
Qubec Rimouski.

Did you try this non-Gui code to see if it works?

Gord
