FYI (and for what it's worth)

The DMG  from
http://wiki.octave.org/Create_a_MacOS_X_App_Bundle_Using_Homebrew
(cli version) works for me on OSX 10.9.5 (even though the page states:
10.10+).

Thanks so much for that binary (I am no longer able to build from sources
like I
used to do up to octave 3.6.2) !
