If you replace line 95

[y_out, t_out, x_out] = lsim(discreteSystemZOH, y_val(3:3:end, 1), t_vec(:,1), 
x_0);

by

[y_out, t_out, x_out] = lsim(discreteSystemZOH, y_val(3:3:end, 1), [], x_0);

do you get the results you expect?
