Your mex file should be placed on present working directory or on octave load
path which is specified addpath function.
I describe the former
If your mex file located at c:\xxxxx\yyyyyy,
>> cd 'c:\xxxxx\yyyyyy'
To confirm c:\xxxxx\yyyyyy is on present working directory by,
>> pwd
For the latter, please consult octave manual by addpath.
