I updated to 3.8.1, and the line widths now change in the printed version of
the plots. I had to install ghostscript because it wasn't included in the
MXE 3.8.1 package.
Although, I now have a question that may be unrelated to any bug. In the
plot window, a line width of 4 is much bolder than a line width of 1 or 2.
When I print it to a pdf, the line width of 4 is bolder than the width of 1
or 2, but it is not as bold as I want it to be. To get what I want in the
printed pdf, I have to set the linewidth to a value that makes it difficult
to read the plot in the plot window. This is with gnuplot. The fltk prints
have the boldness I want, but there are other issues with the connection of
the lines, and I prefer working with the gnuplot window.
Is the a dpi or other setting that can change the widths of the printed
lines without changing the apparent width of the of the lines in the gnuplot
window?
