i understand, now it works with the following procedure:
~/octave-3.8.0>setenv LDFLAGS "-L${HOME}/opt/local/lib"
~/octave-3.8.0>setenv LDFLAGS "-L${HOME}/opt/local/lib"
~/octave-3.8.0>./configure --prefix=/home/a15216/opt/local
but i now get the following error message
configure: error: A BLAS library was detected but found incompatible with
your Fortran 77 compiler settings.
can anybody help me?
