Strange breakpoint behaviour in 3.8 GUI

I'm not sure if this is a bug or just an oddity:
1. open a script for editing/running
2. edit a line from say a comment to an executable command
3. attempt to select this edited line as a breakpoint
4. breakpoint appears not on the edited line, but in the next executable
line.

Workaround is to save and close the file and Octave, reopen Octave and
the file, the edited line is now selectable as a breakpoint. Feels like
a caching issue. Reportable in bug list?
