I just compiled latest sourced and installed.
(This is Lubuntu 13.10 )
When starting octave, the following shows:
>> Gtk-Message: (for origin information, set GTK_DEBUG): failed to retrieve
>> property `GtkRange::activate-slider' of type `gboolean' from rc file value
>> "((GString*) 0x82d820)" of type `GString'
Gtk-Message: (for origin information, set GTK_DEBUG): failed to

What can cause this? Anything I can do?
