Hi Duje,

I guess you are using Octave-3.6.4-mingw? Then see here:

Read the README, it explains how to extract the 7z archive and some
other stuff (for example for windows8: .. As a workaround for a gnulib
windows 8 compatibility bug, keep command the line switches ' -i
--line-editing' in the octave.exe shortcut)
