The symbolic toolbox is essentially useless. It's very badly broken,
and it doesn't do much more than arbitrary precision arithmetic for
scalars (no matrices). I'm thinking of organising a fund raiser to fix
it. Would you be able to contribute anything towards this fund raiser,
say, 10 USD? What features do you need?
