Help: 3.6.4 mingw, long delays in lookfor

Using Octave Forge binary, I’ve upgraded from 3.6.2 to 3.6.4 using the mingw for Windows 7 (x64).

 

Under 3.6.2, ‘lookfor print’ would respond instantaneously (running on SSD). However, same command in 3.6.4 (on same SSD) takes over 30 seconds to respond. Any ideas what could be going wrong?

(On same maching, Linux deb package for 3.6.4 running in Virtual Box also responds instantly.)
