Is Fink's mkoctfile outdated? Mine is still version 3.6.3:

ed:~ lukas$ mkoctfile -v
mkoctfile, version 3.6.3

IIRC there was no octave-ref-dev/octave364-ref-dev when I ran "fink update-all"
