The video package has been in a very bad state for a long time now and
is unmaintained. Multiple users have submitted patches to it and I am
told that the development release compiles and is usable. However, no
one has prepared a release yet. You can try to install the development
version yourself. If you can't, I know that some developers can be
convinced to fix and make a release for you.
