The correct option is "-ascii", not "-mat-ascii".


That said, apparently you have uncovered a bug: the "-mat-ascii" option,
which does not exist, should raise an error, which it does not.  Going
to report it.

Unless you want some special formatting, do not use dlmwrite: it is
slower and more complex to use.
