Adding .m into javaoctave |

I tried to used javaoctave as a bridge for java to octave.
Does anyone knows how to add .m to javaoctave? Seems like javaoctave only
"know" octave build in functions, because I try to execute rgb2gray javaoctave
did not recognize it nor the function I made (which works wonderfully in octave
it self).
Does anyone has idea to solve this? Thank you :)
