ATLAS 3.8.x and OpenBLAS will be slower on your setup, but I'd be interested
to see how ATLAS 3.9.x compares, since they've got the Sandy Bridge AVX
extensions as well. But IIRC it's nontrivial to build ATLAS correctly,
since the method to disable CPU throttling is not consistent across
different distros and processors.
