image processing fns not avail in the MacOS pre-compiled version ?

Hi,

I've just downloaded the latest MacOS bundle of Octave to do some basic image processing.

When i invoke the imread function from the Octave cl, i get the message : 

octave-3.4.0:9> i=imread("image.png")

error: imread: invalid image file: imread: image reading capabilities were disabled when Octave was compiled

error: called from:

error:   /Applications/Octave.app/Contents/Resources/share/octave/3.4.0/m/image/imread.m at line 74, column 7

It seems the support for this fn (at least) has been disabled on this version.

Is it deliberate ? How can i get a version with support for img processing.
