Tables in octave to linear regression,

Ho list, i am new in octave, and would make tables of dates for do linear regression, and things related on errors.

Habitually i use Origin but is the program wich used in my faculty, and i would like to spend to Octave.

 

My questions if is posible use table of dates (style Calc the Openoffice) and then graph?

 

I thought through matrixs, but i'm not sure.
