Thanks for the tip... Should have read that. The 4 thread "dynamic yields" 1.97s and crashes The 4 thread for Core architecture gives 1.10s So none is faster than the default choice. The i5 M480 on my laptop is a dual core with hyperthreading (4 logical cores) so it might not behave as a regular (true) quad-core in this case. Thanks a lot any way.
