You can untar the .tar.gz package and it should be there.
The C-source files are not installe/copied during the installation.

But if one uses the -forge option then the .tar.gz file is deleted and therefore no source file is on my machine.
Just making an observation.

I guess that I will have to go to source forge and go through all the packages and download the .cc files.

I think that they should be installed when you load the pkg.
