Some problems with numerical computation

I have a function file which is giving some bizarre results. I have tried to calculate the results with a calculator and it does not match what the computer is doing. Would like some help in sorting it out.

I am attaching the file.

N = 10, V(1,1:N) = [-70], h2 = 0.0035235

If you can tell me what you get for f(1) - I can cross check with my calculations.
