Strictly speaking, no. We do have 95% ready experimental native
plotting engine in 3.4, but you have to turn it on, because we're not
yet confident enough to make it default. Turn it on like this:
graphics_toolkit fltk
You might still want gnuplot anyways, because fltk is newer and not as
well-tested as gnuplot.
